ResultsPLUS is a YMCA developed, group functional training program designed to deliver fast results.

The key to functional training is integration. It's about teaching all of the muscles in your body to work together rather than in isolation. This makes you fitter, stronger and will get you the results you are looking for!


Adrenaline is a high-intensity interval training program designed for everyone – fit or not – to help them reach their fitness goals faster in a fun and challenging team environment.

These small group training sessions utilise our purpose-built functional training and outdoor areas, where participants will get to learn new exercises and use state-of-the-art equipment under guidance from our qualified Adrenaline coaches who demonstrate correct techniques.


Adrenaline consists of four workout blocks…

Time                Beat the Clock

Complete the circuit as fast as possible.

Set workout with defined repetitions.

Tabata            Keep Up!

Interval training utilising small bursts of exercises – 20 seconds work / 10 seconds rest

All followed by a cardio burst.

Reps                Be the Beast

Do a maximum reps or load in a set time.

Box                  Challenge Yourself

Heavier load and lower repetitions –

AMRAP style - 12 minutes to complete as many rounds of the 4 cross training stations.

All followed by a cardio burst.



This is a benchmark session to hit your goals and reach targets set by your coach. Only running once a month, join in a session to see the improvements you have made participating in Adrenaline.
